The key to joy is giving thanks! So many people have blessed me!
I'm thankful for my wife, Kathy. She taught me how to be generous and brought me back to the Lord.
I'm thankful for my dad, Al Cummins. I've learned the importance of loving people and being a real pastor from him. I'm thankful for my Dad's sense of humor. It's good to know when to laugh. I quote my Dad all the time.
I'm thankful for my mom, Peggy. She taught me about enthusiasm and being sensitive
Her beautiful smile always fills me with warmth. I'm thankful for her hospitality to people and concern for them.
I'm thankful for my brother, Jim. He taught me how to have fun!
I'm thankful for my daughter Ashley. She kept the family together during hard times. Her passion for the people she works with is inspiring. She's so creative! I'm constantly amazed by what she comes up with. Thanks for all your help, Ashley!
I'm thankful for Jesse. He teaches me something every day. He asks me hard questions like, "What does the government do for us for our taxes?" He reminds me to think for myself.
I'm thankful for Carl Barrington. He taught me the importance of integrity.
I'm thankful for Fred Sorrells. He showed me what passion is all about. He taught me to keep the lines of communication open.
I'm thankful for Paul Sutton. He taught me that being creative could inspire Christians to be better. He taught me to lead from the front.
I'm thankful for Sam Bandela. He showed me that the whole world has come to us
I'm thankful for Tito and Lester Ruiz. They're part of the best band I've every been in: CRUZ! I love their talent and passion for the Lord!
I'm thankful for Chip Sweeney. He showed me that teamwork is always the best course
I'm thankful for Jon Paul. He taught me to be wise with money and trust the Lord!
I'm thankful for the teams that come to help us "Take the Church to the People!" Recently, we had a child, her mother and her grandmother come to Christ in one day!
Most of all I'm thankful to Jesus. He is always there beside us. He came as a tiny baby to a world that still needs him today. He is the ultimate missionary, giving his life for those he came to save. He showed me that anything is possible with faith. Jesus rocks!
I'm so thankful for the people that have come into my life. Thanks for being on the Whirlwind Missions Team!! January 1, 2008 we will mobilize over 750 Campus Crusade students in over 70 apartment complexes around Atlanta. Pray for that!
